DBX 286S Voice Processor

This DBX 286S is a fully featured channel strip preamplifier. In addition to the studio-worthy microphone/instrument preamp, it also consists of four processors that can be used independently. The separate threshold and ratio knobs on the Expander/Gate allow you to subtly reduce headphone leakage or radically hole guitar amps. The DBX 286S includes a bunch of gauges and status LEDs to help you visually arrive at the right settings. The floating balanced XLR microphone input accepts balanced or unbalanced inputs to easily connect to both professional and home-end microphones. The additional 6.3 mm TRS line input also accommodates both balanced and unbalanced signals to handle live electronic instruments, or pre-recorded tracks in the mixdown phase.
