In house, Broadcast Partners developed the AerSecure. This watchdog monitors IP and satellite transmission lines and thus guarantees the continuity of FM and/or DAB+ transmissions. When the main source goes down for any reason, the AerSecure automatically switches to another source. It is possible to remotely listen to and manually switch this source without the transmitter going “off air.” In doing so, the audio can be continuously monitored, so that technical malfunctions can be immediately remedied.
