This DEVA Broadcast DB8008 is a smart and very practical solution for "dead air" moments. The device detects signal loss and immediately switches the output to one of two alternative built-in backup players - MP3 or IP Audio. As an added benefit, this device can be easily integrated into a radio station's existing setup or larger radio networks. the DB8008 has DTMF remote control functions; a 3-digit DTMF tone combination can change the audio source input or start a playlist from the built-in MP3 audio player. E-mail notifications can also be sent in case of a change in the input signal source. Emails are generated to a predefined recipient and include a short text message describing the source change: Main, AUX or Backup.
