The Symetrix 4x4 Dante is a digital high-performance and versatile DSP solution for professional audio applications and is suitable for use in environments such as meeting rooms, theaters, churches, studios and other locations where high-quality audio performance is required. The Symetrix features four analog inputs and four analog outputs, and uses Dante network technology to send and receive audio signals over long distances over a standard Internet network. In addition, audio signals from various sources (such as microphones, instruments and other audio devices) can be processed and adjusted if desired using various DSP algorithms. The unit comes standard with a wide range of DSP functions, including equalizers, compressors, limiters, gates, delays and mixers. Setting up the DSP function as well as configuring it for use in different network and audio systems is done through the Symetrix Composer software, which is available for both Windows and Mac systems.
