Broadcast Partners develops and manages the station parks for all major radio stations in the Netherlands and Flanders. In fact; our state-of-the-art innovative broadcast technology is used worldwide! What are the activities
As a mechanical technician, you will perform work on our transmission systems. On a daily basis, you will be engaged in the installation, maintenance and optimization of facilities of equipment and antennas for transmitter installations at our sites. You will be part of a team of experienced mechanics. We offer every opportunity for internal training and development so that you can get to know the organization and eventually work independently.
- Placement of all kinds of mechanical structures on sites
- Placement of mast structures on roofs of tall buildings
- Perform installation and/or repair work on antennas, feeders and splitters at height in transmission towers
- Placement and alignment of dishes for jet links on landings
- You perform regular inspections to detect problems or prevent potential failures
- In the area of transmitter networks, we offer room for development and advancement
What you bring
- You have no fear of heights and are physically fit to place structures at height
- Working and thinking level in the field of (for example: mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent)
- Experience as a mechanic is a plus
- Being able to read drawings is a plus
- Proactive and the ability to work independently
- Problem-solving ability and attention to accuracy
- Valid driver’s license B
- Has or willing to obtain VCA and Safe Working at Height certifications
