Do you want to work in engineering and contribute to keeping well-known radio stations such as Radio 538, Qmusic and 3FM running? We are looking for a Field Technician (mechanic electrical engineering) to strengthen our team in installing and maintaining radio broadcasting installations in the Netherlands and Belgium.
π§ What are you going to do?
No day is the same! As a service technician / field technician you work on location on our transmission systems. You ensure that everything functions optimally and that radio can always be heard everywhere. Do you have no experience in our industry, but do have electrical engineering knowledge? No problem – we’ll teach you step by step.
Your duties:
Installation, maintenance and modification of radio transmission systems (electrical, grounding, equipment, structures).
Working at height in transmission towers (with training and supervision).
Maintenance of emergency generators and air conditioners.
Travel to various sites throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.
Participate in the breakdown service.
π What are you taking?
Education or experience in electrical engineering or demonstrated affinity for engineering.
Mechanic experience is a plus, including experience in other industries.
Be able to read technical drawings (or willing to learn to do so).
You are solution-oriented, accurate and practical.
Driver’s license B.
Curiosity: we arrange VCA and Safe Working at Height.
