Radio Eemland back on the air after more than 30 years via DAB+

As of today, Radio Eemland is back on the air. With transmitters in Amersfoort and Nunspeet, it broadcasts on DAB+ channel 10B. Radio Eemland was a radio pirate that broadcasts to Amersfoort and the region in the 1980s and last broadcast in 1989.

Chairman Paul van Selm: “During a reunion of old pirates that took place two years ago in Amersfoort it started to bubble up again. I heard that there were opportunities on DAB+ and looked to see if we could get a group of people together to discuss the possibilities. With former employees of Radio Eemland, Roulette, Superradio and Jimmy FM, we are going to hit the airwaves from today on”.

Radio Eemland will be available with the music of the past, professional design and a refreshed format on DAB+ channel 10B and online at www.studioeemland.nl.
