As of today, it is again possible to apply to the Dutch Media Authority (Commissariaat voor de Media, CvdM) for permission to hold an event. In April, the CoR decided to revoke all event station permissions until September 1 because of the corona measures that prevented events from taking place. Since these measures have been relaxed again to some extent, it is again possible to apply. An event station is a temporary radio station for a special purpose, for example, a festival, open-air cinema, or party week. An application must be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to the event. With this permission, frequency space can then be requested from the Telecom Agency for the duration of the event.
