Designed in collaboration with Beyerdynamic, this Yellowtec iXm PREMIUM microphone head with supercardioid recording pattern is suitable for recording in noisy environments. It optimally filters extremely loud background noise, as its directivity is even higher than that of the cardioid. The supercardioid pickup pattern is best used for interviews in loud environments, at large events; e.g., sporting events, motorsports competitions or concerts. Recording quality is greatly affected by the adjustment of the microphone to the sound source.
